It goes like this...

In. Deed. Found this tonight. Hope you like it, internet.

Yes. Just… YES. Great video. Great song. Have a listen, kids. Feel better.

I just rewatched all of Arrested Development recently (feeling that it was now finally safe since the quote comedians of the world have moved on to The Office, Always Sunny, South Park, Family Guy, and somehow still The Simpsons).

It had been so long that I had actually forgotten a lot of my favorite moments and so when this part showed up, I didn’t remember it at all. Jason Bateman’s “Hey!” makes me laugh every time and when it happened, I had to pause it because I couldn’t stop laughing.

God bless you, show. I miss you. But I don’t miss the incessant quoting. I really really don’t. Maybe I’ll watch Billy Madison tomorrow…

This is really well done. And really funny. Sorry I didn’t see this a month ago when it first appeared. Check it out.

Don Hertzfeldt is an animator that I actually try to keep up with and anyone who hangs out with me long enough is bound to have me show them his work at some point. I love the guy’s stuff.
Currently he’s working on this three-film series starting with the short called “Everything Will Be OK.” I recently bought the second chapter in the series (“I Am So Proud of You”) and I really enjoyed it (possibly more than the first).
If this is the sort of thing that interests you, the DVDs are pretty cheap (buy them separately for a total of $15 instead of the bundle pack which is $23 for some reason) and you can purchase them both directly from his Bitter Films Website.
If you want to taste before you buy, then here’s a little trailer for Everything Will Be OK.
